Growing up on a dairy farm, I was immersed in the rhythms of nature and the deep connection between animals and the land. Like many farm families, we ate a lot of meat and potatoes—simple, hearty meals that lacked variety and bold flavors. Despite this upbringing, I never developed a strong taste for meat and eventually embraced a vegetarian lifestyle, driven by a desire for health and sustainability. Over time, I began craving more flavor and creativity in my cooking, which led me to explore vibrant, plant-based dishes. After being diagnosed with colitis, I transitioned to a vegan diet, which transformed my well-being and aligned with my values of compassion and environmental stewardship. The benefits of a vegan lifestyle, from improved health to contributing to a sustainable planet, have been life-changing, and I’m passionate about sharing this journey with others.

I’m also a mom of two girls and a wife to an amazingly supportive husband. I started this journey in my kitchen, playing around with non-vegan recipes and making them vegan. I want everyone to be able to eat a meal at my home and walk away completely satisfied. My recipes will do the same for you. Enjoy!
